Audi’s latest-generation A4 model is preparing for a mid-cycle refresh, one that should consist of an upgraded interior, new tech, new lights and ever-so-slightly various front and rear fascias.
Audi makes its effective premium midsize model even more engaging. The 2019 model year will see the Audi A4 Sedan and Audi A4 Avant receive recently created bumpers, which together with the new wheel design highlight the stylish character. The equally all-new S line competitors equipment line provides additional vibrant highlights.
In the new model year, the Audi A4 stands apart with a more striking front-end from the design and sport lines and above. Powerful, pentagonal contours surround the exterior air inlets– aluminum-look bars structure their inside. The S line exterior bundle features new bumpers with a sportier appearance. Their pronounced wedge-shaped style makes them even more eyecatching. A U-shaped clip separates the exterior and the interior location, which is rounded off with a honeycomb grille. Separate openings in the air inlets direct a part of the airflow into the wheel real estates, where it flows past the wheels.
The Singleframe grille also helps differentiate between the devices lines. In the S line exterior plan, the grille now also features slats with a 3D look. A blade rounds off the lower part of the front-end. The rear bumper likewise comes standard in the new look. 2 large, trapezoidal exhaust tailpipes replace the previous round tailpipes. The diffuser location between the exhaust tailpipes is now narrower. The wheels, which are readily available in 16 to 19-inch versions, have likewise been upgraded.
The S line competition equipment bundle is also making its debut in the Audi A4 model line. It includes a host of unique new features– the blade in the front bumper and the stone-chip guard strip in selenite silver, an RS rear spoiler on the Audi A4 Avant and, among other things, the new Turbo Blue paint surface. The 4 rings logo remains in the lower section of the rear doors, in either silver or black, depending upon the exterior paint color. The devices plan also offers consumers with stylish technology features– Audi Sport 19-inch wheels, red brake calipers, sport suspension and LED headlights.
In the interior, the S line competitors builds on the S line black interior bundle, supplementing it with RS carbon inlays, a three-spoke multifunction guiding wheel and black partial leather sport seats. Alternatively, customers can also opt for S sport seats in lava red or in other colors.
We have not heard any reports relating to the facelifted A4’s engine range, but it’s safe to presume that a minimum of some of them, will be more effective, with lower CO2 emissions. On the other hand, 2.0-liter and 3.0-liter TDI and TFSI systems will still dominate the range, mated to either a 7-speed s-tronic or an 8-speed tiptronic transmission, depending upon which version you select.
In Germany, pre-sales of the Audi A4 Sedan and the Audi A4 Avant, model year 2019, will start in the 3rd quarter of 2018.
